The World of ROHAN

In the beginning was On, a supreme diety.  On was lonely so he created the mother god Edone.  He then created the world and gave it to her.

Edone then gave birth to 5 lesser gods:
Representing the Mind was Roha
Representing the Land was Geil
Representing the Water was Marea
Representing the Wind was Silva
Representing the Fire was Flox

The world was then divided into five regions which were given to each lesser god to control.

Creation of the Races

Each god then created a race to populate their region of the world and gave them knowledge and technology.

Roha created Humans who were loyal to their king.
Geil created Giants who were one with nature.
Marea created Elves who loved peace and wisdom.
Silva created Halflings who were master crafstmen.
Flox created Dark Elves who could control magic.

The lesser gods then created dragons which roamed the borders of their regions.  The dragons were designed to prevent the races from coming in contact with eachother.

The disappearance of On

One night, the sky was littered with shooting stars.  The people of the world found it to be a beautiful sight, but in reality it marked the beginning of dark times.

On had disappeared.

The shooting starts were actually the shattered remains of On falling from the sky.  Shortly after, Edone went into hiding.

The Age of Chaos

The lower gods went into a state of confusion due to the disappearance of both On and Edone.  They speculated that On was destroyed because the creatures of the world had become too great and were draining his power.

Roha then decided to destroy every creature in the world in order to try to resurrect On.

The first to be sacrificed was the dragons.  With the dragons gone, all of the races started mixing together.  Roha then turned the monsters of the land hostile and they started attacking the races.  The land descended into chaos...
